Water Balloons and Baking

Another fun summer day. I told my kids we could go swimming today but Henry brought a cold home from scout camp and it is making its way through the kids so we stayed home. I felt bad about that so I ran to the store and got some water balloons, foam brushes (for sidewalk painting), and spray bottles. The three younger kids had a blast playing in the yard and I didn't feel as bad about missing swimming d

 Henry wasn't really on board with water ballooning so I figured it was a good day for him to learn a little bit of baking. He made a batch of chocolate chip cookies and did a really good job. I think we will tackle peanut butter bars next week.
